In the 2025 Bihar Assembly elections, Digha constituency elected Sanjiv Chaurasia from the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) as the winning candidate with 111,001 votes (56.59% vote share). Divya Gautam of Communist Party of India (Marxist-Leninist) (Liberation) (CPI(ML)(L)) secured the second position with 51,922 votes (26.47% vote share).
