Bihar Legislative Assembly Election

In the 2025 Bihar Assembly elections, Jokihat constituency elected Mohammad Murshid Alam from the All India Majlis-E-Ittehadul Muslimeen (AIMIM) as the winning candidate with 83,737 votes (38.52% vote share). Manzar Alam of Janata Dal (United) (JD(U)) secured the second position with 54,934 votes (25.27% vote share).
